By checking the rental terms in our online booking calendar, you agree to the following conditions:

Booking and Payment

Online booking is binding once you receive the booking confirmation/info via email. You will receive a payment invoice by email together with the booking confirmation. The invoice will have a payment deadline of three weeks. If there are less than 21 days until your stay, the payment is due immediately.

The person booking the stay must be over 20 years old and is responsible for the cabin during the stay.

Cancellation

Cancellations must be made by email to aase@trehyttene.no or by phone to Åse at +47 950 53 807. If canceled more than 30 days before arrival, the full amount will be refunded, minus an administrative fee of NOK 249.

For cancellations between 30 and 3 days before arrival, 50% will be refunded minus the administrative fee of NOK 249. Cancellations made less than 3 days before arrival will not be refunded.

If you need to cancel due to illness, we recommend checking if your travel insurance covers this.

In case of strong winds/storms, we may need to cancel stays at Gjøkeredet and Flåklypa. We follow guidelines regarding wind levels that are safe before cancellation is necessary. In these cases, we will contact the renter to arrange a solution. If we cancel due to bad weather, guests can choose between rescheduling the stay or receiving a full refund.

Check-in and Check-out

• Flåklypa: Check-in from 1:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM
• Gjøkeredet: Check-in from 2:00 PM, check-out by 12:00 PM
• Kråkeslottet: Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 1:00 PM
• Vannspeilet: Check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out by 1:00 PM

Early check-in or late check-out is possible if there are no other guests in the cabins. This must be arranged with the host the day before your stay.

Cabin Stay and Cleaning

If more than eight people will be staying in the cabin, this must be agreed upon in advance with the host.

The renter is obliged to read and follow the usage rules set for the cabin and the surrounding area. These will be provided in the cabin. You are responsible for your own safety during your stay. Use of the water, both in summer and winter, is at your own risk.

Guests must leave the cabin and surrounding area in the same condition as upon arrival. Cleaning supplies can be found in the cabins. Cleaning service is available for NOK 499.

Included in the rental price:

• Electricity usage
• Duvets and pillows
• Toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, cleaning cloths
• Salt, pepper, cooking oil
• Hand soap in all cabins
• Shampoo, conditioner, body wash in Kråkeslottet and Vannspeilet
• High chair + travel crib (must be arranged in advance)
• Rowboat and life jackets in summer at Kråkeslottet and Vannspeilet
• SUP board at Vannspeilet in summer

Additional charges:

• Cabin cleaning if you don’t clean yourself: NOK 499
• Bedding and towels: NOK 99 per person

Please check the options during booking if you would like these services. They can also be added later before your stay.

Keys and Directions

Along with the payment invoice, you will receive an attachment with information about the cabin, the stay, and directions, as well as details on where to pick up the key.
