Booking
Our cabins are available for booking all year-round.
Select your desired cabin from the dropdown menu, then choose dates on the calendar. Once the booking is confirmed, you will receive a booking confirmation with practical information and an invoice by email.
Note! Check-in and check-out times vary by cabin:
- Vannspeilet: Check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out by 1:00 PM
- Kråkeslottet: Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 1:00 PM
- Gjøkeredet: Check-in from 2:00 PM, check-out by 12:00 PM
- Flåklypa: Check-in from 1:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM

Prices varies from NOK 2,499 to NOK 6,999. Each of the four cabins has a different price, and prices vary for weekdays versus weekends/holidays. Rental prices are shown under each date in the booking calendar below. Hover over your desired check-in date to see the price.
- Cleaning fee: NOK 499
- Bedding and towels: NOK 99 per person If you wish to book cleaning and/or bedding, please check this option in the booking form.
- Kråkeslottet: Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 1:00 PM
- Gjøkeredet: Check-in from 2:00 PM, check-out by 12:00 PM
- Flåklypa: Check-in from 1:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM
- Vannspeilet: Check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out by 1:00 PM
Early check-in or late check-out may be possible if there are no other guests. This must be arranged with the host the day before your stay.
By checking the booking conditions in our online booking calendar, you agree to the following terms:
Booking and Payment
Online booking is binding once you receive the booking confirmation/info by email. You will receive a payment invoice by email along with the confirmation. This invoice has a payment deadline of three weeks. If there are fewer than 21 days until your stay, the payment is due immediately.
The person booking must be over 20 years of age and is responsible for the cabin and surrounding area during the stay.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations should be made by email to aase@trehyttene.no or by phone to Åse at +47 950 53 807. For cancellations more than 30 days before arrival, the full amount is refunded, minus an administrative fee of NOK 249.
For cancellations between 30 and 3 days before arrival, 50% is refunded minus the administrative fee of NOK 249. Cancellations less than 3 days before arrival are non-refundable.
If you need to cancel due to illness, please check if your travel insurance covers this.
In the event of high winds or storms, we may need to cancel stays at Gjøkeredet and Flåklypa. We follow guidelines on wind safety and will contact you if cancellation is necessary. If we cancel due to bad weather, guests can choose between rescheduling the stay or receiving a full refund.
Check-In and Check-Out
- Flåklypa: Check-in from 1:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM
- Gjøkeredet: Check-in from 2:00 PM, check-out by 12:00 PM
- Kråkeslottet: Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 1:00 PM
- Vannspeilet: Check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out by 1:00 PM

Cabin Use and Cleaning
If more than eight people will be staying, please arrange this in advance with the host.
The renter is required to read and follow the cabin and area rules. These will be provided in the cabin. Stay at your own risk. Water activities, both summer and winter, are also at your own risk.
Guests must leave the cabin and surrounding area in the condition it was in upon arrival. Cleaning supplies are provided in the cabins. Cleaning can be booked for NOK 499.
The Rental Price Includes:
- Electricity
- Duvets and pillows
- Toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, cloths
- Salt, pepper, cooking oil
- Hand soap in all cabins
- Shampoo, conditioner, body wash in Kråkeslottet and Vannspeilet
- High chair and travel cot (arranged in advance)
- Rowboat and life jackets in summer, at Kråkeslottet and Vannspeilet
- SUP board at Vannspeilet in summer
Additional Charges:
- Cleaning if you do not clean yourself, NOK 499
- Bedding and towels, NOK 99 per person
Other Requests
Please check these options when booking if you want them, or add them closer to your stay.
Keys and Directions
With the payment invoice, you will receive an attachment with cabin information, directions, and instructions on where to pick up the key.
Send us an email with this information:
- The desired value of the gift card
- Your (purchaser’s) name, address, and email address
- Any personal message/other requests. We can customize the gift card if desired.
The gift card will be created with information and images from the cabins, along with the gift card’s value. It will also include a gift card code that can be used when booking. We can also create gift cards for specific dates if preferred.
We can send the gift card by email for you to print, or we can mail it to you. Please allow time for postal delivery.
There is no fee for creating a gift card, and it has no expiration date
