Welcome to Floating Luxury at Vanntårnet
Vanntårnet is a truly special and unique luxury cabin floating on Lake Lundvann. Here, you’ll experience an incredible sense of closeness to nature. A twenty-meter walkway leads you out to the cabin, where you can dive from the roof, relax in the hot tub under the stars, and fish directly from the terrace. Vanntårnet is perfect for a romantic getaway, but also ideal for groups of friends or families.

With large windows, glass floors, and a spacious rooftop terrace, this is a place where nature almost becomes one with the cabin. The changing seasons and weather create a unique atmosphere during your stay — from sparkling waves and magical mist to booming ice as the lake freezes. Every season has its own charm and character. No matter when you visit, your stay will be unforgettable.
A Paradise for Water Activities
From the rooftop, you can dive straight into the water or enjoy a relaxing bath in the large 38°C hot tub on the rooftop terrace. The hot tub is always ready and preheated.
During winter, you can take an ice bath directly from the terrace and warm up again in the rooftop hot tub. It’s also the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy the peaceful, crystal-clear night sky.
In summer, you’ll find SUP boards by the walkway that you can use to explore the surrounding area from the water. A rowing boat is also available. Life jackets for two adults and two children are provided in the cabin. Nearby, there is even a beaver lodge that is exciting to observe from the water, and the river is wonderful for rowing or paddling. Bring your fishing rod and see if the fish are biting! You can fish directly from the terrace/walkway or take the rod out in the boat. Fishing in Lake Lundvann is free, and there are plenty of fish, mostly smaller ones.
We want our guests to fully relax and enjoy a comfortable and safe stay. The cabin has walkways and terraces without railings and is located above deep water. Good swimming skills are therefore essential when staying here. Vanntårnet is only available for adults and for children who can swim. Life jackets must be used by anyone who is not confident in the water. All stays are at your own responsibility.
A Bathroom with a Spa Feeling
The bathroom at Vanntårnet offers an extra touch of luxury, featuring a double rain shower, a spacious bathtub, and direct access to the swimming ladder from the terrace. The bathroom is warm and inviting, with underfloor heating and elegant interior design to give you a true spa experience. As the finishing touch, you’ll find products from RÅ waiting for you.
A Place to Gather Friends and Family
The kitchen features a large dining table, perfect for spending quality time with friends and family over a delicious meal. The kitchen area is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, including all tableware. There is a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. And for the essential morning coffee, you’ll find a French press.
Sleeping Arrangements for Eight Guests
Vanntårnet has three bedrooms with sleeping space for up to eight guests in total.
Bedroom 1: One double bed (150 cm)
Bedroom 2: One double bed (150 cm) and one single bed (75 cm)
Bedroom 3: One double bed (150 cm) and one single bed (75 cm)
If more than eight guests wish to stay at Vanntårnet, this must be agreed upon with the host in advance.

Check-in is available from 4:00 PM.
Check-out is no later than 12:00 PM on the day of departure.
Early check-in or late check-out may occasionally be possible and must be arranged with the hosts shortly before your stay. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this.
You will receive key information after booking your stay, and an SMS with additional information will be sent prior to arrival.
