(Crow's castle)
Kråkeslottet is beautifully located by the water's edge at Tangvall in Gjerstad. The cabin features exciting architecture with three stories and a large terrace in the treetops. At Kråkeslottet you'll find many different activities for both young and old! There's a Tarzan course for climbing, a woodworking shed, and fire pits both on the terrace and on the ground. You also have your own beach where you can enjoy a swim, and a rowboat to explore Lundvann or perhaps try your luck at fishing!

Kråkeslottet has three stories: a bathroom with floor heating on the first floor, two bedrooms on the second floor, and a kitchen and living room on the third floor. From the kitchen a footbridge leads to a terrace between four pine trees. The cabin is fully equipped with electricity, water, a shower and a toilet. The kitchen includes a stove, fridge and a dishwasher. The cabin is heated with electricity, but you can also enjoy a wood-burning fire in the living room/kitchen.
Sleeping spaces for eight people
At Kråkeslottet you can comfortably sleep eight people. There are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, and the other with bunk beds for four. The last two beds are on the sofa-bed in the living room. The master bedroom with the double bed has floor-to-ceiling windows facing the water. It’s a magical place to wake up and enjoy your morning coffee!
Enjoy the fire pits
The fire pit at the end of the Tarzan course is available for cozy fires, cooking, and gatherings. There is also a fire pan on the terrace. You will also find firewood and a wok pan for cooking.
Your own private beach
Just beyond the fire pit and the gray shed, you’ll find a small lovely beach! Feel free to take a swim! If you’re interested in winter swimming, please let us know in advance, and we can prepare a hole in the ice for you!
Tarzan course
There is a “Tarzan course” in the area around the cabin. Here, both children (and adults) can try their skills at climbing, balance, speed, and endurance. The course is not high above the ground, so there’s no need for safety gear. Young children are recommended to have adults supervision.
Have fun in the woodworking shed
The gray shed/woodworking shed is located next to the fire pit. We’ve set up a proper woodworking area for those who love hammering and nailing. Here, children, along with adults, can hammer, nail and chop. You’ll find planks and equipment inside the shed, feel free to use as you wish. If the weather is nice, feel free to take the planks and equipment outside, but remember to return everything where you found it! Also, remember that the nature outside should not be chopped or nailed into.

- From 3,999 NOK to 5,999 NOK

- Optional additional charge for cleaning: 499 NOK
- Optional additional charge for bed linen + towels: 99 NOK per person.

What’s in the cabin:
Duvets and pillows, toilet paper, paper towels, dishcloths, cleaning supplies, hand soap, dishwashing liquid, firewood, salt, pepper, and cooking oil.
You can check in to the cabin from 3:00 PM. Check-out is by 1:00 PM on the day of departure. Information about the key will be provided when you book your stay.
